The manufacturing of finished vinyl flexible and rigid products is predominantly carried out through extrusion, calendering, or spread coating (plastisol) processes. In these processing technologies, combining PVC polymer with structural substrates — such as woven polyester or glass fiber fleeces — provides exceptional mechanical strength and dimensional stability in the production of technical floorings and industrial tarpaulins.

In the resilient vinyl industry, selecting the appropriate IKA stabilization system depends directly on the conversion technology and specific processing parameters. Our advanced additive packages grant technical floorings superior heat stability, exceptional initial color retention, high transparency (critical for clear wear layers), and full compliance with strict environmental standards: low VOC emissions, phenol-free formulations, and minimal odor.

For acoustic surfaces and foamed vinyl layers (foamed PVC), we supply specialized activating agents known as kickers. These functional additives act simultaneously as thermal stabilizers and catalysts for the thermal decomposition of blowing agents (azodicarbonamida) at lower, controlled temperatures, ensuring a uniform cellular structure, low density, and high resilience in sub-layers for floorings.

Operational Note: IKA does not produce or market liquid stabilizers, focusing its research and technical development exclusively on high-performance solid systems, offering low emissions and reduced environmental impact for modern floorings.
