The extrusion of thick profiles and rigid sheets requires highly refined thermal and rheological control. Due to prolonged residence times inside the processing tooling and demanding mechanical requirements for the final product—whether for industrial cladding, signage, or chemical tanks—stabilization must prevent dehydrochlorination and ensure continuous dimensional stability throughout the manufacturing process.

In the conversion of flat, corrugated, or expanded panels, selecting the correct IKA thermal stabilizer guarantees excellent melting behavior, the complete absence of plate-out on calender rolls, and a homogeneous distribution of color and surface gloss. Our solid Calcium-Zinc (Ca/Zn) and Calcium-Organic formulations are engineered to optimize productivity and impact resistance across production lines dedicated to rigid sheets.
